How Fygi Started

Fygi started started with the idea that traditional retail solutions needed change. Why invest in expensive hardware when the customer carry’s around a smartphone in their pocket? And so the idea for a mobile based self service solution came to life. Fygi – Scan & Pay. Our solution requires no app or hardware. Therefor eliminating the need for big hardware investments and at the same time reducing the carbon footprint. Last but least – Customers love using their phone!

2020

  • Development for Fygi`s Scan & Pay started.

  • Applied for our first patent - FygiEye.

2021

  • Fygis first pilotprojects with Scan & Pay launched.

  • Integration engine developed.

  • Upgraded and re-write our backend for scaling

2022

  • Cooperation with Swish in Sweden. Helping Swish develop their Scan and Swish solution.

  • Started building a payment solution for the Norwegian Sport Association

  • Building AI for FygiEye and first prototype produced.

  • First customer signed in Germany.

  • Fygi was chosen for the Euronext IPO-ready program.

2023

  • Launched Scan & Pay in Germany

  • Launched Scan & Pay at Reitan Convenience

  • Launched Scan & Pay for Norwegian Sports Assosiation

  • Pilot project Scan & Swish in Sweden

  • FygiEye patent filed in EU and USA
